just saying hello

Ths is my first card for 2010! YAY! I can't get enough of the Row of Houses stamp! It is SO versatile and fun! Since Sherri has the theme of "cut that out", I thought it's most appropriate to cut out the houses. I guess I have not outgrown "playing houses"-heehee!

I was in Curacao during the Christmas holiday and was immediately in love with the row of houses there.

CL380 Truly Appreciated , H5328 Row of Houses, S5215 Clouds, Ink: Hero Arts Soft Pool, Apricot, Soft pink, pearls, ribbons
Here are some travel pictures from the southern Caribbean. Yup, that's 4 of us riding on the horses (me for the first time!). And that's not all...

After a 20 min tutorial ride in the paths, we then went into the water with our horses ....

Wow! I never knew that riding a horse at the beach could be such a thrilling experience! My son David had video taped me riding the horsie.... and no, I am not sharing that video!  I was on a high and acted like a "wild" woman! But you get the picture....

V! That's exactly what I was thinking about when I saw your row of houses, I thought maybe you had gotten inspiration from the vacation pics!! Wow, I really love how you put one little heart gem above that chimney, so cute, and the little round gems with the flower....such a great card!

Hi Virginia! I LOVED your blog entry today! That photo of the house is SO BEAUTIFUL. I'll bet that those that live there are HAPPY PEOPLE! How could you not be? Such a stark contrast to the grey and cold Michigan days of winter (Ontario, too)! Your card is DARLING and what a great replica of the houses. It's fun to see exactly where your inspiration comes from. This is a FAVORITE of mine, Virginia. I'm going to have sweet dreams thinking about this place. Love, Karen xoxoox
