Can you take more....BIRDCAGE cards?

I promise you this will be the last posting about Birdcage cards ( at least for a while).  I just want to share the "LOVE" of that image!
Then this....
I plan to mass-produce these and give them out as a set. Wouldn't that be cool?
So why I'm obsessed with this image, you may ask? I think I can "relate" to the bird in the cage! In two weeks, my 15-year old David is leaving for the 10-day Latin class trip to Italy (yes, LUCKY boy!) and that makes me feel like the bird in the cage! I know I'm content to be at home...doing my own thing (you know, stamping and card-making), but somehow I will miss going out exploring with him! Long while ago, the bird was my little David, stuck safely kept in his own play pen, well, time has changed! Just the other day my DD Stephanie got her application accepted to do research/course at National University of Singapore this summer. She will be spending a month in Singapore doing her Environmental courses and research. Yes, they are ready to fly out the "cage". Thus, I LOVE this lovely and quaint image.
Now I need to find my next hot image...! I definitely need to get out more (LOL)!!

I think it's ok to make a lot of cards out of images that you really like, it is neat to see how different, and similar they can be! Really like your top card with the black bird!

Love your musings on your children and "fleeing the nest"! It's a fact of life for most of us, and that just means you've done a good job of raising them to be confident in themselves. It's so fun to see where they'll fly!

Love all your birdcage cards Vrginia, its so sad when your children fly the nest, but my boy came back after his studies, hope David enjoys his trip, Italy is the most beautiful country, I adore going there, he is a lucky boy.

Your birdcage set is just perfect Virginia! Love the different colors and the shape of the cards. Congrats to David and to Stephanie! Sounds like a fun time for both of them. I'm sure it's sad to see your children growing up, but at least you know you did a good job of raising them to be independent people! Love all your stories on your blog!

These are all so pretty Virginia! That's pretty exciting for Stephanie that her application was accepted to do research in Singapore and that David will be going to Italy. I am right behind you with my kids leaving the nest but I'm not quite ready yet!

I can't imagine my girls leaving the nest, but I guess someday that will happen too. I'm excited for your kids, though. What a great experience at such a young age.
