Poppy Love

There was so much buzz about this Poppy stamp (see discussion here). Maybe that's why I was so intrigued by it and I rushed to Michael's get one for myself. Funny thing is, I can't stopped making cards with this Poppy stamp. I made one for Card Patterns.sketch #59 (sponsored by my favorite Hero Arts). Based on the sketch,
I came up with this card. Of course, I had to use Starbucks coffee sleeves! This picture was taken on the deck facing the backyard. I think it suits the look of this card.
 While I made the cards, I thought of the song "Puppy Love" by Donnie and Marie Osmond. Back in my youthful days in Taiwan, that song was frequently played in the radio station. I can now relate that song to my "Poppy Love".
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And they call this Poppy Love( isn't the Poppy gorgeous?)
Oh i guess they'll never know (my DH can't figure that out...)
how a young heart really feels (the thrill, the excitement of holding that stamp)
and just why i love her so (she is oh-so delicate....)
and they called it poppy love...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here are my two other cards from this delicate stamp
And my first card from this stamp
Are you feeling the "Poppy Love" ?
Thanks so much for your comments! I appreciate all of them! I'm having a giveaway of this very Poppy stamp. I will draw a winner from all the comments in my poppy cards post in Hero Arts Flickr and my blog post here. Deadline is April 18, midnight Eastern time.  I know you'll love this stamp as much as I do!

Ooh laa laa,these are fantastic cards. I like them all but my favorites got to be the last, I LOVE that you stamped the poppy in the background too! (At least it looks like you did on my computer) And thanks for the inspiration, I think I've got to try that as well, having a main panel colored with a stamp and using the same as an outline in the background. Stunning!
