Food Scenes from Harrods!

Caution! This post may cause you slight discomfort to your stomach....
I thought it would be fun to share some photos from our trip to Harrod's in London. Since I have always wanted a food blog, this post is as close as it can get....
According to my daughter Stephanie, this is the only Egyptian items that are not "tacky" in Harrods. She is also a chocoholic herself.
Can you pick just one?
Did you see the price of this cake (below)?
This Senses Cake will set you back 4,999 Pounds ($7,000 US), shall we order two?
Here's a shot of gourmet shops (located in the basement of this biggest British department store)
We saw Thai food here....
The Vegetarian Puff Pastries looked yummy...and so did everything else!
Are you drooling yet? These Shepard's pies looked "heavenly"!
I would love to have these for appetizers...
Now back to the desserts....is your stomach OK?
Assorted Eclair with Pistasios/Rasberry,Eclair Chocolate Hazelnut Praline,Eclair Lemon Coconut...(it's about $5-6 US each)

I believe your eyes are satisfied...not sure about your stomach though.

News update from Taiwan: My father had a very meaningful funeral service on the 13th. I am so grateful to be back home and spent time with my mom, relatives and friends. We were so touched and overwhelmed by the love and care from those who came to the funeral service to say their final good bye to my father. All is well here with me in Taiwan. I will be flying home this Saturday. Till then! Miss you, blog friends!

Hi Virginia, Yes, all the yummy desserts look so good. I do love cholocate and that is my weakness, but I do try to resist them. Sometimes I can and other times I just break down and eat a dessert. Glad to hear that all is well with you. I have you in my prayers and praying for your safe return to your home. Take care and God bless. Hugs to you.

Thinking of you and praying for you while you're in transit! Had to stop by and take a peek at your blog, and whoa, look at all these delectables! YUM, YUM! Good thing they're so expensive, maybe that would help me avoid getting fat on all those goodies. Ha!

Yummy!! Love seeing all these sweet treats, now my sweet tooth is awake! :) Love seeing your photos from Harrods, wish I was there too!

Harrod's is such an awesome place! On my trip to London and Harrod's I purchased a plaid washcloth, monogrammed with an H for Harrod's. Had it for years and somewhere along the way, it disappeared! I wanted to avoid buying a not needed souvenir and so thought a wash cloth was an ok purchase because I could use it!

Glad you are home safely!

Hi, Virginia!,
So sorry to hear about your father. My heart aches for you now. - I left my comment on your June 10th blog post.

And really yummy photos! You are to blame, if I go to Harrods at a department store in our city tommorow. It takes 7 min. by car.
Have a safe trip to Canada!
Blessings to you and your family!
Tomo

(P.S. I sent my e-mail to your g-mail account a few hours ago - before I knew about your father. So sorry to be late!)

I'm amazed at all of that food, V!! It's a good thing I don't eat like that every day or I would be super big by now, not a good thing, since I'm headed in that direction anyway! Sigh! ;) I'm thinking of you!!
