A VIDEO of my travel booklet

Travel booklet (cover) part 1
After my trip to London in May 2010, we came home with assorted ticket stubs and we kept them as souvenirs. They were scattered on our dinning table in a little pile. I had no idea what to do with them. I know I can put them in scrapbook pages, but that will take a lot of pages to hold them all! Thanks to the Hero Arts July challenge, I made a recipe book (see here) and during that process, it also gave me another idea to make a Travel tickets/stubs booklet with lots of pockets. Here's the video that David helped me with. Can you believe it took us a dozen times to get this video just right? It's still not perfect, but it's presentable! I saved the bloopers of the videos ...we all had a good laugh!!

Here are the photos of the booklet.
Travel booklet (part 2)
I made pockets for each page to hold these tickets, such as the admission to Westminster Abbey and our boarding passes. The following one (on the right) with the star brads can be opened with the stretchy ribbons.
Travel booklet (part 3)
I had lots of fun creating these pockets, as you can see! I am glad that the tickets can now be properly displayed in this booklet.
Travel booklet (part 4)
We saved the admissions to London Tower and Phantom of the Opera! All four of us even got a FREE upgrade to take the flight home from London to Toronto in FIRST class!
Travel booklet (part 5)
By looking at these tickets, we know where we left our footsteps and what a fabulous time we had.
Museums, theater and China Town!

Thank you for taking this little "journey" with me!

Virginia, this is such a neat idea! I love it!! We have so many different tickets and admission stubs from traveling when the kids were younger. I've used some on scrapbook pages but this is fabulous! I so admire your creativity and clever ideas! It was fun watching the video too!

Virginia this is a brilliant idea! I always put our ticket stubs and stuff in a draw somewhere and then eventually get rid of them because i never know what to do with them! But now i do! Thanks so much for this clever and inspiring idea! :)

What a beautiful travel booklet...don't you just love making minis? I have a special love for little books...it's so interactive I suppose and sharing your work and design at the same time! BTW, your video is great and the music is fabulous :) I know it's hard work and I still haven't been able to make one myself!

WOW! What a FANTASTIC job you did putting this little "treasure" book together! It is PERFECT, Virginia and what a GREAT way to showcase it with the CLASSICAL music played by David! Everything flows so nicely together. You've got a nice memory booklet of your time in the UK. Love your use of embellies and Nestie shapes, too. VERY INSPIRING! Love, Karen xoxo
