Embellish Challenge

The latest Embellish Challenge provides this beautiful color scheme. I couldn't resist making a card for it after seeing this YUMMY photo. The requirement, other than the colors, is to incorporate music in the project(s).
If you follow my blogs/cards closely, you know this following card is not my usual style...but I kind of like it! This card has 101 gems (yes, I counted!) and layers and layers...but it will stay flat in an envelope. I do like to keep my cards postal mail-friendly.

Since I have applied some layered background stamping, I will enter it for the current Hero Arts March Challenge  as well. The background is stamped with Music Background and Stencil Flower. The Stencil Flower also provided the bottom layer for the flower (made with die cut). While I was making this card, I used the same color combo for a totally different card ----WITHOUT the music. Here's the bonus card!

I love it when the creativity help stretch my little brain. It really got myself outside the comfort zone. It's good for the soul!

The first card may not be your usual style but it's beautiful, Virginia! Love the purple and the way you incorporated the music, not only in the background but on your flower too! And your second card looks just like the Hero Arts blinkie! Love it!

I want to reach out and touch those purple pom-poms, Virginia! They are gorgeous. And the second card has such creativity on there, with the bicycle toting a banner. Love it!
