Etsy Inspired Challenge #130

Hello, Saturday! It's Etsy Inspired Challenge time! Our shop is Artwork by Lori. This shop offers whimsical art work from Lori. She also has two other shops - The Royal Bead AND Hip Heart. I highly recommend that you check them out as they are full of lovely inspirations ( I know..I say that A LOT, but it's TRUE!!)! The Royal Bead has gorgeous felt flowers and hair pieces. Hip Heart offers a lot of beautiful vintage prints that will inspire you!!
Winner Prize: Print of winner's choice up to $14.
Winner prize - $10 Gift Certificate!
Here's what inspired me--Flower circles paper collage mixed media ORIGINAL PAINTING
Aren't these gorgeous!?
The grid-like design really inspired me and I then used this Hero Arts Kaleidoscope Flowers set ( which I don't use enough) for this card. I first embossed the images in white and cut/punched out each individual flowers. I then applied assorted of distress inks around the images.
Etsy Inspired Challenge
I added a bit of a twist for the center by applying the SRM Stickers (miss you) to pink punch-out circle and then onto the sun image (from Hero Arts Bee Happy).
Please check out my DT fabulous work!!

and now we are bracing winter here....all.over.again. The views from my backyard...
View from my front door....
 Spring, spring...where are thou?

I know how you feel, V! We got lucky and were a bit south of the snow this time. . .just another inch here. I feel your pain about the shoveling. . .I've done it many times this season when the kids were not home. It hurts, literally! Love your wonderful card today! It's such a fun take on the inspiration piece!

I can't complain... being in SC it's been spring for close to a month now. A few cold days here and there, but overall pretty darn nice for Feb and March!

Love your card Virginia! So pretty! So perfect for your inspiration piece! I love it!

Hi Virginia your card is the PERFECT take of the artwork! :> Love your son's suitcase at least he isn't a slob like so many boys are! :> The snow looks a bit like hoar frost, so beautiful! Soon Spring will be here, you know in May! LOL Loved talking with you today it's always a treat! I hope I didn't pressure you too much to come to Scrapfest! I am sorry if you felt I did! :>

First off, your card is DARLING, Virginia! GREAT colors and GREAT design.
One less day to have to wear shorts and a bather is all I have to say when I look out the window at the white FLUFF! :) In other words, it's a "gift from God":)........but ONLY if YOU don't have to be the household "shoveler"!! ;)
On a final note, "Does David HIRE OUT"? I sure could use him when trying to figure out my attire for traveling..........OCD or NOT, he's got it TOGETHER in my book. Hope he's having FUN! Love, Karen xoxoox
