More One Layer Card

I can't pass up the chance to play One Layer Wednesday #44 from Susan Raihala at Simplicity. The challenge this time is to use inspiration from this site called  Pinterest. This site offers"pinning" photos of really cool stuff on your very own virtual inspiration board. Like Susan, reading from her blog post, I was immediately taken by all the inspiration from this blog. You must check this challenge board out! If you ever need any creative mojo to kick start, this is a GREAT source! I tried to narrow down to one photo to be inspired by....but boy! They are just so many! I finally narrow down to this:
I did some masking with the paper and stamped the Lace Frame over the paper. Then I lined up the dotted line with the paper and stamped the line over. I almost gave up....then I went back many hours later and tackled it all over again.
It took me quite a few trials and errors to get it right...these are the "rejects". It's tricky to get all the inking just right.
I'm not terribly satisfied with the result, but I am too lazy to give it another go...you know what I mean :)
sew what's new?
My son David is leaving for Milan (via Frankfurt) tomorrow and I'm working on the weekend. (Dr. John is on call and we have to be at the office!!)--Boohoo!  Sew...that's new with me!
