Just sharing a card set that I made...when I was not sleeping this past weekend. I have been meaning to make a set of CAS cards for Moxie Fab World's Card Sets Challenge and I finally got them done.
I used the color inspiration from this photo from Hero Arts Fresh-Inspiration Friday.
I started off with a design and I like what I see...I used just three stamps for this design--my latest favorite Silhouette Spray, squiggle line from Be Happy and dragonfly from Antique Engravings.
And here are the 6 similar cards that I made. Because they were hand-stamped, none of them is exactly the same, also I stamped the dragonflies in three different colors.
I decide to use the sentiment from the SRM Thinking of You stickers. This way the card can be for any purpose, whether it's a thank-you note, a hello card or even a birthday card.
I also made a gift card bag from a large-sizes Martha Stewart envelope. The idea was from this video by the talented Lisa Spangler. It really was easy to do, but oh..so fun and useful. I added just a few embellishments for the gift bag. The "just for You" sentiment is also from the SRM Stickers.
Here is the complete set.
The blog candy giveaway is valid till Apr. 17 (see the side bar for details). I will have a busy week ahead as my son David is starting his yearly local piano competition all week. He is in RCM Grade 10 level and that is intense! ...AND I am counting down the days for the "announcement" (it's more like the PARTY!). There will be two parts of it all. That's all.
