Yup, I'm Clean....And I Am Simple

First of all, BIG thanks to you for the patience and visits to my blog in the last few days and in the past. So here is the BIG news (part 2) that you have been so interested to know...

I am one of the new Girl Fridays for the NEW Challenge Blog CAS-ual Fridays!! (YIPPEE!)
I am so very excited about this opportunity to be part of this new challenge blog. In the last few months, I find myself drawn more and more into the Clean And Simple style kind of cards. To me, CAS also means, Creative And Sophisticated. I think no matter what your style or level is, making clean and simple cards CAN actually enhance any one's card design sense. The real challenge is to use minimal embellishments and layers (you can still have a layer or two) to achieve big impact. I love to think about card designs (except when I'm sleeping... ), this NEW challenge is going to stretch my mind and creativity!! Isn't my new badge dandy?
I want to thank Julie and Michele for having me on board. And I hope that you will stick around and see what kind of "trouble" "adventure" that I got myself into....

Lastly I want to share a CAS card with you! I bought this Paris set when Michael's had it for clearance. I adore anything French, so this is one of the sets that I love to have! I used the Sew Artsy for the faux stitching (again! I just love this "technique"). Merci
So what else does clean and simple mean to me? I will continue to make clean and simple cards AND complicated cards... Let's face it, GOOD card-making is almost never simple. Yup, I'm embracing "clean and simple"! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to give me such wonderful feedback. Don't forget to comment to win this blog candy (details here).
Merci
Please mark your date, the new challenge blog starts on May 6th! More DT will be revealed in the next few days! Now let's get the party started! Here is the official CAS-ual Fridays blog! Hope to see you there!

I am embracing the CAS style. The looks of the beautifully layered and embellished cards is inspiring but when I sit down to create, I am happiest with a CAS card. And the best part, I can make multiple cards instead of just one in the same period of time.

Congrats and have fun

Liz
