Did You Know....

....what are the favorite (summer) desserts in my house?
This Lemon Blueberry Bread (recipe here) had made appearances in my blog before. And so is the Apple Crisp.
And last but not the least....Chocolate Chip Cookies ( previous post  here)!
As you can tell, I have been "busy"....
My summer is not complete without this yummy Blueberry-Lemon Bread.
And then there will be homemade Peach Pies and Ice Cream Sandwich ...that will be another post!

Lastly, here's a card I made with my few Penny Black stamps. The card challenge was "background stamping" (see video PB and J ). This video was so inspiring to me that I wanted to try out as well! I stamped the Seine River background twice in Antique Linen and Wild Honey. Then I embossed the Eiffel Tower image in white. I used up all my distress inks (more details about the inks here). I started with the two main colors--Red and Blue. Then I decided  that it doesn't have to be complete in re and blue...so the rest is history!  It was a lot of inking fun!
thinking of you
I hope you enjoy the "treats"! There are still time to enter Stamp Your Hero HeART Out Challenge (see top of the post). I have been enjoying seeing all the beautiful entries! Please keep them coming!

All that food looks delicious, Virginia but I have to admit, if you put them all down in front of me, I'd reach for the chocolate chip cookies first, every time! :) Love your gorgeous inky card! Beautiful colors!

So yummy, Virginia, all your fave desserts.... Wish I could try that blueberry cake.
And for the card, it's so inspiring to me. The stamp Tour Eiffel caught my attention that this is the stamp I need to make a card for my bro who celebrates his b'day there. Thank, Virginia.
