SRM Feature and A GIVEAWAY!

Hello! I am excited to share an SRM project with you today.  We all know how place cards and party flavors really make a special party a success. However, who has the TIME to make them? Well, no worry! The SRM Stickers really make the job EASY! Anything "easy" is GOOD during the holiday season, right? I kept all that in mind when I designed these place cards and party favors!
place cards
I heat embossed the Hero Arts Flourish in white over the glossy heavy card stock, then added the SRM Stickers-voila!

Instructions for the tags
1. Cut a the strip of card stock (heavy card stock suggested),  measures 1 3/4" x 6"
2. Score a line at 1 3/4' and then use a 1 inch Circle Punch to make circles for the tubes
3. Use a border punch (with holes preferably) to trim the bottom of the tag
4. Decorate with SRM Stickers ( We've Got Your Stickers-Merry)
5. String through the holes with twines, add embellishments such as holly and leaves (from craft stores like Michael's)

The contents of the party favors are almonds. I dry roasted the almonds with a mixture of extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper in the oven for 400 F for 10 min, then 350F for another 10 min. Do check constantly without over baking them. Let cool completely before tasting. The recipe is probably the best way to keep them non-sticky for the tubes. And they will keep well in the air tight SRM Tubes.
Here is the complete table setting!

Hope that get you inspired to make you own place cards and party favors.

Please leave me a comment over SRM Blog ( here) before November 12, Saturday midnight Eastern Time. If you did, please come back and tell me here in this post. I will enter your name in a draw. One lucky random winner will get a card (that I made), a small set of Hero Arts stamp, SRM Stickers and TWO SRM mini tubes! SRM Tube Contest is going on right now till Dec. 1. Please check out the details and find out how to take part in this fun challenge! The winning prize is ginormous! Hope you can play!
