I love my Martha Stewart Fringe Scissors! This somewhat heavy gadget was MAILED to me by my VERY dear friend Karen P. from Michigan. Imagine how much the postage cost?! I find myself not using it to its full potential as I used it mostly for "trimming grass"( like this card). When I saw the Cutting and Trimming Challenge from the Moxie Fab World, I knew I need to get my thinking cap on and get it out to play.

I am also inspired by Kristina Werner's CAS class to make my own flower with the window layout (from Day 6), so here is the result....

I pieced 2-3 strips of cutout from the fringes and formed 2 circles. Then I curled up the end with the toothpick. The double-sided BG paper is perfect for the curled-up effect! Lastly, I added the button and gems!

Okay, that is too cool! I always think of the fringe scissors for grass, too, but your idea rocks! The stamping behind the flower is really a great element. Love your colors!

What a fabulous card Virginia! Love that flower, added such great dimension on your card.
Cool flower! Love the large circle window too!
I haven't used my fringe scissors yet--I picked up a pair at Bed,Bath and Beyond during Boxing week. They're not MS--they're a generic brand, and cut great! Funny thins is that they were not advertised as a crafting tool buy as an identity protection tool--use them to cut up your credit/ID cards. Best part--they were only $3.50!!!
Wonderful look to your blossoming flower! Really love what you did with those nifty scissors!
WOW, Virginia, LOVE how you approached this challenge - beautifully done, my friend!! I'd better get my act in gear!
