Runway Inspired Challenge #3

I am loving the photo from Runway Inspired Challenge #3 (details here),
so I HAD to make a card to join the fun. The black and white stripes looks très chic together. I reached out this set called You Are The Best and did some pattern stamping...
After some more stamping, this is what I came up with. By utilizing the 2nd generation stamping in a row, I then stamp the 1st generation ribbon images OVER them to create the unique pattern.
be unique
I also used the Lawn Fawn Stamp clear to see for the main image. After my initial stamping, the card looks cold, lifeless and uninteresting. So I decided to add a bit of the paper-pleating with Basic Grey (Basic White) Paper. Not sure if it looks more interesting, but it does look more pleasing to me :)
Thank you so much for stopping by! I have some exciting events planned and am looking forward to sharing with you later this month AND this week! Ciao!

To me, the rhinestones on the spectacles totally make this card, Virginia! But I do like the pleated paper and the amazing ribbon images, too. :)
