A rejection card doesn't make me mad or sad...well, it is disappointing when your think you make the BEST card ever (ok, that's never happen), and then it was not accepted. I am sharing a reject card today from a previous Paper Crafts submission call. Even though it was not selected for publication, I still love it as it is the first time I used a diecut/ stamp combo in a cool and different way--now THAT is something worth celebrating, right?
In order to keep up the celebratory spirit, now I am entering this card for Moxie Fab World's Die Cutting Challenge. I love how the butterflies and the pattern paper complimenting each other. It is rather easy to make--which is the best part! If you have those stamps/diecut set, you will definitely have many ways to explore the possibilities! Time to get them out to PLAY!
edited: my dear blog friend Erin alerted me about CASE Study challenge. The theme was to use negative die cutting, so I am entering it for the first time over the CASE Study as well! Yay, how AWESOME!

It's hard to believe sometimes what they discard as a "reject"! I love how you used your dies on this- super card in my book :)
Lovely card Virginia, it's THEIR loss. Have a nice day.
Love how you made a panel with the negative impression of the butterfly die, and have the stamped butterfly underneath! I SO have to try this with some of my die/stamp sets! Thanks for the idea!
Love how you used those dies Virginia - not a reject in my book by any means, Jo x

gorgeous card. Not accepeted does not make it not a great card. Love the PP paired with negative die cut.
Surely every so called "rejection" is accompanied by many other "acceptance?" Surely even Picasso got a "no" or two in his life? lol. Wonderful card! great idea actually!
