faith. hope. love

I feel like sharing something uplifting with you today. First, it's a 4-minute long video of my son David (feel free to stop/skip). He performed cello (Bach Prelude Suite 3) this past Saturday's recital. SO proud of him!
After the recital during our car ride home, both Stephanie and David told me how much they enjoy taking piano and cello lessons throughout their childhood to this day. Both instruments have enriched their lives and that they can not imagine life without playing music. Stephanie now accompanies with her cello at the church service. David plays as the principal cellist in senior orchestra in his high school. They vowed to do the same for their kids (some day!!)-- taking piano and cello lessons! It's just so wonderful and rewarding that you hear these things from the kids...I would do all this all over again!
I want to part you with an uplifting card . It was an un-chosen card from previous pub submission.
faith hope love
The background was created with a few swipes of chalk inks. The Silhouette Flower is from Hero Arts. The sentiment is from SRM stickers. Isn't the sticker PERFECT for this image?
                    Happy Sunday!

i luv this card, Virginia! I enjoyed your son's recital. Thank you for sharing :-) I started to learn Piano when i was three and although i traveled too much from coast to coast, over different ocean (!!), and couldn't carry Piano always with me but I feel the same way as your kids do, toward the music, and i'm also thankful that my parents allowed me to take piano lessons when i was growing up. :-)
