Another Take on Alcohol Inks

In my previous post (see here and here), I said that I was addicted to alcohol inks, well, here I go again! I am trying to find ways to use the colors for the stamped images. So far, I found that the rich and vibrant colors from the alcohol inks are quite the ideal backdrop for silhouette images.

Here is  my latest creations from experimenting with alcohol inks. I must say that I had so much fun as this card was not created for any specific challenge in mind. It's just pure.fun.

When I created the background, I "swiped" the ink pad across the glossy paper. Voila! The sentiment was embossed in white and the image was stamped with Hero Arts Tuxedo Black. So what do you think? I need to get more colors, that's for sure! Yup, I'm definitely addicted

That is just beautiful! I'm loving seeing things done with plain white paper. So very cool. I have quite a few of those inks but need to be a little more creative using them.

I think I recall that someone sent you some Washi tape from Target. I looked in our Target yesterday and couldn't find anything...could you find out what department it was in and maybe what the brand was? The only thing I found was Smash tape but it didn't look like what you used in your card.

Thanks, Virginia!

Wow - what a pop of brilliant color! Just perfect for the black and white treatment you added. You have inspired me (again!) to get out my inks......they can do amazing things, just like you. Ha!

Virginia, this is absolutely gorgeous. I love the color swipes along with the black, plus I've been to the Eiffel Tower, so it is one of my favorite images! Such a great card.
