Silhouette Flower

Another share about alcohol inks today.
The background was created with the "dabbing" motion. The fun thing about these inky background is that you really have little idea how the inks and alcohol are going to interact. Thus, it creates these artsy kind of background.
hello
I made this card based on the sketch over Hero Arts Blog (see here ). And I want you to know that I just ordered some new Spring Seasonal Distress Inks! There is a video of Tim Holtz showing off the new Spring ink colors! Aren't they gorgeous!? I absolutely love that teal color! While I ordered those distress inks from Simon Says Stamps, I also added two more bottle of alcohol inks!
Oh happy inky days!!

So glad you are loving the alcohol inks! I totally adore them and do lots of cards with them....dabbing, dripping, spraying...so much to do with them! I also use foil and clear film (that gloss paper is expensive). For felt pads, I just buy regular felt and cut it....29 cents a sheet! All the best!

Hi Virginia!! I found your blog through pinterest and I must say, I LOVE everything I have seen so far. but, by far, this card is the most beautiful and UNIQUE that I've seen since scrolling through your pages!

It's very pretty :)
What is the flower stamp that you used? well I guess it's not really a flower, a dandelion? I mean, are dandelions flowers? I thought they were weeds, but they are pretty enough to be flowers!

anyhow, good work and keep it up. :)
Happy Crafting!!
