What is Dr. John thinking....again?

A happy card for you today!
sending love your way
I made this card's background with Ranger Peacock Liquid Pearls . Got to love those 50% off Michael's coupons! The inking of the mail box is from alcohol inks! I was just having fun with the latest goodies I have!
edited: this card was featured in Lawn Fawn Blog here.

And yes, no hexagons this time! After my previous post, Dr. John came up with another crafty idea...
Dr. John: Hey, you know how to cut triangles, right?
Virginia: Yeah...Why?
Dr. John: Because you can form a hexagon with triangles! Got any triangle punch?
Virginia: No, you should go and invent one! And why would I want to do that when I have hexagon diecut!?
Dr. John: hmmm.....just. a. suggestion....
Virginia: Yup, keep them coming :)

Love the vibrant splash of colors here, Virginia! Not sure that the postal service could weather that storm of color and still get the sweet mail through. Idol Challenge? You are already one of MY idols, sweet gal! Thanks for sharing.

It's been quick a few posts that I last check in, I don't know why from time to time, your blog name disappear from my list!? Anywat I really enjoy your series of rainbow colour cards, they are all so happy! Best of luck with the contest! At least, you get to enter. I can't even enter, because Quebec is excluded!! :(

Haha! Was that Dr. John's way of telling you you might NEED a triangle punch?? :)

Another cute card ! I always love how you can use the same stamps to produce very different results! Keep 'em coming! :)

Great blog! Love your style.. and if there was a Paper Crafts Gallery Idol award for a super-encourager; you would have it. As I'm looking at cards and popping a few comments on- you've already been and left a comment!

Super cute card Virginia!! Love the colors. I have AC Moore across the street from Michaels here about 10 mins from my house and they use each others coupons so I almost always get 50% off my stuff -I'm spoiled!!

I always wondered why they don't make a triangle punch -but I did buy the triangle dies which are still in the packaging next to my new hexagon dies!! 3 more days of work and I can use all my goodies - no problem!! Thanks for reminding me about the Gallery Idol. I didn't have time to make anything new, but I added lots of stuff from my Flickr Gallery - like you said - what can it hurt?

I giggled at Dr. John's idea - and then it hit me. If you make a triangle-pieced hexagon, you could MAKE IT RAINBOW!!!
Love the peacock colours - and the mailbox is gorgeous. I love the perfect scatter of gems :)
