This is my 3rd installment of the series "How I stretch my stamps. Here is post #1 and post #2 and booster post , in case you miss seeing them.

This following card also use the backing of the stamps. That way you do not have to worry about coloring!
Tip #3: Back-stamping will get you some extra mileage. What you do is to turn the clear stamp to the back and use that solid image. You kind of have to choose certain stamps because this technique may not work with all the clear stamps and will not work with wooden stamps. This idea originated from the the talented Lisa Spangler from Hero Arts if I recalled correctly. I had used this little trick numerous times. First you stamp the backing of the stamp with colored inks, and then you stamp the actual image over the colored images.

It really fun to stamp the design out in a creative way.
For this following card, I used the acrylic block (stamp on distress ink and mist it with water, then stamp) to create color blocking for the background.

Tip #4: look for a good design in stamps.
You will be amazed what you can achieve with a versatile stamp. What is a good design for a stamp, you ask!? I am using the Row of Houses stamp to illustrate this idea.
you can use one house as the main image
Make a window and show a house of your choice

You can create a neighborhood

You can use it as a faded background

Hopefully this prompt you to look at your stamps in a different but creative way! There is still time to play the challenge. Not only we can share the fun and inspiration, a random winner will receive $25 gift certificate.
Thanks so much for the visit!Edited: Please mention in your post that you are linking it to "How I Stretch My Stamps" and feel free to use the text bird logo.
