Card with Canvas Leaves!

After ScrapFest, I am back to the swing of things and that means....I am ready to create at my own home and stay in my comfort zone. I bought some more canvas sheets at Archiver's and decided to create fall-theme card with textures. Each Inkssentials Artist Trading Card package ($5.99) includes 20 sheets of 2½" x 3½" trading cards. This was not my intentional plan as Plan A (stamping leaves on the entire canvas) didn't work, this is my Plan B (cutting the leaves out instead). Making mistakes on projects is NOT a bad thing, as you may know already.
 HI
I applied the crackled paint (Antique Linen) and stamped the Lawn Fawn Leaves (from Flutter By) over canvas. I then cut them out and frayed the edges a bit...voila! I used the Basic Grey paper for the instant stitching. I then added a wooden button with twines!
I am entering this card for the Asymmetry Challenge over Moxie Fab World and Paper Crafts September Gallery Challenge (Natural Elements).

I hope to catch up on visiting blogs today! Have yourself a great day!

Very cool, VL! Genius use of canvas! When I first saw it, I was thinking it would be perfect for the Movement challenge-the way the leaves are drifting down to the trim at the bottom. Just a thought!
