Card with A Focal Point

I am sharing a card that I had created a while ago and didn't get to post it. The Focal Point Challenge over Moxie Fab World just gave me an excuse to do so! I used this stamp from Clear and Simple called Sunburst (you can see my teal flower card from this link). The sentiment "CREATE" is from Craft Room.

I actually cut out a poorly stamped image (one more reason to save the scraps) and use it as a template.  I taped the template with Washi Tape and used it it as a mask. I then sprayed the white paper with Mr. Huey's Mint-Julep over the mask.
CREATE
For the focal point I decided to use a purple button to complete the rainbow color theme! The paint droplets in the background are from another scrap. I think this card is fabulous to give to anyone who loves to create!

I am hoping to get creative myself. It's been nearly four weeks since I create a card! I hope that I didn't lose my creative juices from the long blog break I had. Thanks so much for checking out my travel photos ( if you haven't, you can see them here)! My next travel post is about the land of Legos and The Little Mermaid!

This is great, Virginia! I love that the edges of the sunburst aren't razor-sharp, and the splattered sentiment panel. Very fun!

Ha, I just bought Mr Huey's mint julep by mistake (it was next to the blue I think) and wasn't sure how I was going to use it. Love how you paired it with purple! Thanks for the help : )
