Hello, I am back from ScrapFest. What a whirlwind and inspiring experience. Before the trip to Minneapolis, we already had some drama with Dr. John's Vertigo problem. I canceled the trip two days before and re-booked it the day before ScrapFest. Thanks goodness, everything all worked out and it turned out I didn't miss a class and didn't get penalized financially for the hotel because of the hiccups. I am feeling so blessed and thankful!
Here are just some of the many highlights of this trip.....let's start with meeting with my Hero Arts Flickr friends.I had known most of them from 6 months to 3 years and counting. It's so wonderful that I finally met everyone in person.
Top (from left to right): Janet, Kathy, Jennifer, Linda B., Linda W., Ava,Lin and Judy
Bottom: Marcy, Me (holding the sign), Nancy, Barb and Sheila
These are the small gifts that I had for everyone and we also did a card exchange.
Rubbing elbows with the crafting celebrities
with Lawn Fawn's Kelly Marie, Heidi Swapp, Mike from Lawn Fawn, Tim Holtz (there will be a post about Tim later)---WOW!
I felt quite overwhelmed since I haven't been to an Archiver's for a while.
Have you ever been to an Archiver's? Well, we don't have any here in Canada, so I took some photos of the store since I can't have them all--obviously.
Taking classes and Make and Take....FUN!
I am thankful for our Stamping Family Support. Without their support for our little addiction, stamping is not the same! From left: Denny (Lin's hubby), Bessie (Sheila's daughter), Kathy ( Judy's daughter) and Dr. John. Looks like they were having fun, too!
Dr. John calls this group-HAHADA (Hero Arts Husbands And Daughters Anonymous). It rhymes with Canada--ha!
Wondering what they were laughing about...
Did I look silly? NOT!
Here is a stamp that describe this whole thing....
Thanks so much for stopping by!
