The Repetition Challenge

The Repetition Challenge over at Moxie Fab World is a fun one! Regardless of what stamping level you are at, I think anyone who stamps CAN make this challenge. Let's face it, it's the repeated stamping that keep us coming back for more, isn't it?!  Because it's a child's play! Repetition is a VERY good thing!

Here is my take:
thank you
By using the inchies, this card was a cinch to make!

Card stock: Earth Layering Paper by Hero Arts
Stamps: Fabulous Pattern by Basic Grey-Hero Arts, Bold Pop Designs by Hero Arts-Sizzix
Ink: Hero Hue (Butter Bar), Shadow Ink (Apricot) by Hero Arts
Accents: sentiment (SRM Press) pearls and gem by Hero Arts, 3D Pop Dots by E K Success
Tools: 0.5 m fine pen (Black) by Sakura

1.    Make card from card stock
2.    Stamp the Fabulous Pattern in two colors and cut out 8 squares of  inchies
3.    Stamp smallest flowers from the set and make two die cut
4.    Assemble the squares and apply stickers, use the fine black pen to make faux stitching
5.    Layer the flowers and add pearls and gem

Lastly, my little guy has gone to college (sniff sniff).
This was the conversation (with Dr. John and Stephanie) when I took him back to campus.
David: Want to visit me tomorrow?
Steph: You have to give me some time to miss you first.
David: Fiiine. Bye.
Dr John: SEE YOU IN 96 HOURS!
(David is due back on Wednesday for a bank appointment)
LOL
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Gorgeous card Virginia~love those inchies! Sniff-that is rough....I know you will miss him. We pretty much head in the direction of letting go, don't we? ;( I pray that God will give you grace and that your son will bloom in college!

Love your use of inchies for your repetition card--genius! And I can't believe your little genius is off to college already! It'll be a little empty in the kitchen now. I'm sure you'll savor the weekends when he comes to visit! Enjoy college life, David!

I love that you used inchies for repetition. Your card colors are very nice - Kraft is a great background for the flowers.

It's hard when the youngest leaves for college, but you all have some great days ahead!

Hard to believe how quickly they grow up!! At least he is still nearby. My oldest moved out too although he is older then your David but I am so happy he is also nearby so I can still get my hugs when needed.
