What Is Dr. John Thinking....(and CAS-ual Fridays Updates)!

Dr. John: You've got your questions answered (handing me the Paper Crafts Nov/Dec issue that came in the mail) ------>Yes, Dr. John READS the Paper Crafts Magazine!
V: Huh? What questions?
Dr. John: Check p. 24!
V: Hey!! That's ME (Virginia from Ontario, Canada) asking the Go-to gals!! :
"What is considered an excellent card design? What elements are important? "
(yay, go me!!)
Dr. John : You should have asked ME!
V: Yeah...what is a good card design?
Dr. John: I know it when I see IT... (LOL)

Just in case you wonder why I got to ask a question to the Go-to Girls (Betsy Veldman, Windy Robinson, Julie Campbell, Kim Kesti, Jennifer McGuire and Teri Anderson).... it was a few months ago, Paper Crafts Connection invited the readers to submit questions for the Go-to Girls...Well, apparently, they chose mine! I love how each one of them answered my questions and each designer has a card illustrating their points. Check out P. 24, you will learn a few things like I do!

Here are the fall scenes in my area...my local Farmer's market
Our Thanksgiving weekend--scenes from our house, David was busy studying, our turkey dinner, we said good bye to our 19-year old Toyota Camry (sniff, sniff). I had so many memories with the Camry--speeding tickets, diaper change, broken block heater/mirror. The poor car took quite a beating when the kids learned how to drive!  I still remember that we bought the car when I was pregnant with David!
Lastly, I want to bring your attention to CAS-ual Fridays. There is a big HUGE announcement (and special prize alert, see here ) coming our way....
Go and link up your blog for a chance to win some amazing prizes! Thanks for stopping by!

I have that issue, Virginia, and the go-to gals really gave some great answers/examples to your question. Maybe the rest of us should just send our queries to Dr. John for his opinion?!!! That would be great fun!

Love all the photos you shared. The turkey looks delicious; I can't wait for our (USA's) turkey day. Love all the yummy food.

I knew it was you!!! When I was reading it I thought for sure it was and even said so to my husband hehehehe! Love it! And I really wanted to let you know that I appreciate all of the comments you have been leaving me... I've gotten so many turn downs lately in the crafting world that it is making it super hard to feel good about my work, but when i see someone like you stop by and taking the time to leave me a comment it picks my spirits up some... thank you so much for always taking the time! And your Thanksgiving looks like it went beautifully!
