Caring Hearts Card Drive

If you stop by for CAS-ual Fridays' post, please click here.
Welcome to Caring Hearts Card Drive
You probably just arrived from Anita (Crafty Girls Designs) for the blog hop.
If not, you can start right here to see the master list. This card drive was organized by the sweet and talented Vera Yatess. The goal is to collect holiday/Christmas cards for nursing homes during the holiday season.

Today I want to share two quick and easy cards for holiday card-making. Both of my cards were made with Target Washi Tapes and  you can easily make that with any Washi tape (or pattern paper) that you may already have. And since holiday is all about spending time with  the love ones, why not get the kids involved in card-making, too?

Stamping directly over the Christmas-y Washi tape is a fun and easy way to make multiple cards.
Merry Christmas
This one requires a bit more work as it calls for some paper-piecing! But the result is so worth it, right?
merry christmas
Supplies: Stamps are from Lawn Fawn. Target Washi tape---simple!
You can see all the details here
I had already sent my holiday cards to the card drive. You can do it, too!
Please leave comments and help spread the word about this card drive.

About this blog hop:
~Prizes for the hop: Bella Blvd, Hero Arts. Lawn Fawn, Avocado Arts, May Arts, Two Peas In A Bucket and 2 online classes offered by Jennifer McGuire.
~Winners will be randomly picked from comments left on participants blog. The more blogs you left comment on, the better your chances. :)
~You have the whole weekend to leave comments (till Monday, 11/5/2012 midnight CST).

Your next stop is Linda McClain.
.....and if you get lost in the hop, you can always find everything at Vera's blog
Have fun hopping!

You just made me regret not getting the washi tape from target! I went down to the states last Saturday and decided to pick up some craft supplies. Picked up 3 rolls of washi tape... decided I probably don't need them and put them all down. Darnnnnnnnn
