I had a request from my daughter to make some holiday gifts for her girl friends. She liked my SRM tube idea and so I went right to work. With the Keen on Neon challenge going on over Moxie Fab World, I decided to make them NEON.
Previously I used the same stamp set let it snow (Lawn Fawn) and made this card.
As for the colors on the tubes, I used Alcohol Inks. I added the shimmer with Liquid pearl and Stickles. Inside the tubes, they are filled with fragrant bath salt--perfect for young ladies!
I was quite happy to use the neglected neon green ribbons (by May Arts) for this project because it really "ties" in the colors so well.I can't wait to see how Stephanie friends like these tubes.
I am very happy to share that I shall have two projects published in CARDS (May 2013)! It's my first pub with CARDS! (Yay, go me!) With Canada Express Post, I hope my cards get to the destination safely (only 1 week notice!). However, if you don't see my cards in print then, you know they are likely LOST in the Christmas mail (LOL)! On top of that, I was very pleasantly surprised to have a little shout out for my bird card over Moxie Fab World! Gotta love card-making!!!
