Keep It Simple!

I found out about this new CAS challenge blog "keep it simple" through my German blog friends Christine and Anni. I can't pass up the chance to play some more ...you guessed it--Washi tape!

I decided that I want the Washi tape to shine, so I stamped the Aspen Festive Ornaments in muted tones.

I simply stamped the cling stamp and cut out the images that I want. You can, apparently, cut up the cling stamp (like this video from Lucy)! I could not bring myself to do that to my background stamp. Because once you cut up the cling stamp, you can never make a card like the following (previously featured in A blog Named Hero, Washi tape was also used)
good tidings this Christmas
I did, however, brushed the ornament with the mixture of Perfect Pearl and water. The Target Washi tape definitely take the center stage!
Here is my new creation for the "keep it simple!" Challenge.

Recently I purchased the Martha Stewart ribbon punch from Michael's clearance rack. These two cards definitely justify the cost! That always makes me happy.

Lastly, my friend Danielle is having a giveaway over Neat and Tangled. Her digital tag stamp is darling! All you need to do is become a follower and comment to win (before Dec. 4). Go check it out if you haven't!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Such a clever way to get more use from your background stamps by turning them into ornaments! And the washi tape hangers are the perfect touch! Love the colors on kraft!
