Tuesday Trigger!

I am loving the image from Tuesday Trigger (Cross my Heart) over Moxie Fab World....
Here is my clean and simple take!
 missing you
I love the rustic look of the photo, so I tried to mimic that feel by distressing the edges.
I also changed up how I used my prop for this photo. The wood underneath the card is a Starbucks coffee box! I may use it more often!
Ding---> How do you distress the paper edges? I don't have a fancy Paper Distresser such as thisBut, have no fear, you can use a pair of old dull scissors! Just open it up and use just one of the blade (go back and forth the paper...). As long as you watch your hands, it is quite safe!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

This is perfect for the trigger - love how you replaced the "O" with a pearl!

Looks like a winner to me! I love the sweet colors here! And you know, you can actually use the smooth side of the blade (the outside) to distress the paper - even safer and you can use your sharp scissors for this! :)

I love your take on the trigger, Virginia! And, I used to distress my edges with scissors, too. Now I have Tim's cute little distressing tool.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't know how to distress edges without a fancy tool. I don't have one, so I'll try the scissors.

Fabulous card Virginia! LOVE those colors - so FUN. Great staging on the photo too. The wood base goes nicely with the blue and red from the card. For distressing edges I use a sanding block.
