Black Thumbs!

Since I love to spend my time in card-making and blogging, something's gotta give!
Yup, I have black thumbs! These plants (three orchid) are my latest "casualties"....With the frequent travels and blogging, I just don't have the time or patience to look after them!

Yes, not everything is as rosy as it looks...and that's life!
With that, I may as well share my card that didn't make it (there are more!) to the March/April issue from Paper Crafts. The card was based on a sketch.
happy birthday to you

Card stock: Neenah Paper (white)
Pattern Paper: Konnichiwa (Basic Grey)
Stamps: Fresh Bloom by Neat and Tangled
Ink: Hero Hue Chalk Ink (Punch) by Hero Arts
Accessories: (sentiment) SRM Press, Pearls by Hero Arts, 3 D Pop Dots by EK Success

And of course, our lovely Ryan makes me feel so much better.
Well, now you know...my house plants have taken the toll. And I am not going to make any changes about that :)
There is still time to enter my stamping goodies giveaway

Thanks for stopping by!

I could have written this post myself - that's exactly how plants fare with me! Thankfully the flowers on your gorgeous card didn't die!

I love the popped up flowers on your card, Virginia. In our house, my husband has the green thumb. We have had one plant for close to 40 years thanks to him :)

Orchids are SO difficult to take card of!! I had some for several years and gradually they just all sort of died off! Love the lantern paper on your card as well as the layered blooms!
