A Shape Card with Cork!

Happy Monday! Just popping in to share a Scramble card ( time limit is 90 min--from creating to uploading ) that I made last Saturday over Hero Arts Flickr. choose beauty
You can see all the details here.  I decided to use paint chips (my latest obsession) for the background. With the new (to me) swatch Spellbinders die cut, I created a square card. I also used a piece of small cork paper and embossed the sentiment in white. I am entering this card for the Metal, Wood & Cork Challenge over Moxie Fab World.

Special note: If you miss checking out yesterday's alcohol ink tutorial, please click here.
If you have more time, feel free to check out this 13 minute- long video that my kids compiled from our California adventure from
two weeks ago.
.
I will be back for Fresh Squeezed Stamps new Stamp release tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by!

Your paint chips really work well as a background for the flowers. The flowers have an organic feel and nice texture. The cork adds to the organic nature. The white embossing really draws the eye.

(I tried to see the video, but couldn't view it.)

Virginia, I was just able to see the video. Maybe my IPhone was having issues. It was great to see bits of California - my family home. I don't miss that San Francisco fog :) I haven't been to Disneyland since my sons were young. The light show was fantastic! Thanks for sharing.

What a neat looking card, Virginia! I really love the soft stamped background & use of the cork. I will check out the ink video--still haven't done anything I like with my alcohol inks, so I need help!
