Card Made from Scraps

Just popping in to share a card that was made from scraps of paper.  These pattern paper had been cut trimmed and unwanted in my little bin for the longest time.
018
All I did was to use a large Delicate Wings (Penny Black). First I layered and glued the strips of scraps on a thin paper randomly, then run the butterfly die with the strips of pattern paper through Cuttlebug! The background of this card was previously stamped and left on my craft desk. I put them all together and applied Distress Inks (Mowed Lawn) to make the color blend with the pattern paper. This is a fun way to use a larger die cut with scraps of paper

Edited: here's an after thought...next time I am going to die cut a couple of more butterflies and layer them up. I find this card a tad too flat.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Great use of your scraps, Virginia. The splatters and paint swoosh are fun elements. And I love how distressing the paper really ties all the elements together
