Inspired By.....

I am inspired by..... Ryan Gosling!
A lot of people say that inspirations are everywhere if you do look for them. Well, that happened to me when I saw this Ryan Gosling photo over Pinterest...
This brilliant "hey girl" message really seems like a good idea for a good card design. I thought I may give it a try! Here is the card, according to Ryan.
you make every day special
Isn't it lovely!?
 About this card:
1. blue alcohol inks on vellum  (the layering paper)
2. the mason jar image was stamped over blue vellum to create the frosted look
3. the bottom part of the flower stem was layered in between the stamped vellum and paper
4. the flower was popped up a bit with dimension tape

The followings are some flower photos that I took at a wedding last month. Aren't the outdoor displays gorgeous!?
I hope that you are inspired by your surroundings and all things sweet and lovely!
Thanks for stopping by!

The alcohol ink on vellum is a lovely watery look. The popped up red flower adds a real spark to your blue vellum jar. And the twine is just perfect - great texture and added depth. I love this card - and I must try stamping on vellum. (I have some plain vellum. Where do you buy colored vellum?)

Me thinks Ryan must have attended that outdoor wedding with you, Virginia!! Are you keeping something from us?

Lovely is an understatement - stunning, Virginia. You know, I have this stamp but have never used it. I am really not a flower gal, but you have stirred up some serious inspiration in me.
