Thrifty Cardmaker !

Here I go again! So instead of using stamps. I used a vegetable (yes, a green vegetable!) as a stamp for this following card. The only stamp I used was the sentiment (Frankly My Dear by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps). Crazy, huh?
I couldn't be happier for you
Can you guess what green vegetable part that I used for this project? The answer will be revealed in my next post! The following photo was my previous project with nappa /Chinese lettuce. See, the flowers are slightly different from today's card?
Thanks for stopping by!

This is a tricky one. Which vegetable can it be? I'm stumped!

This is a lovely card. Whatever you used to make those beautiful flowers sure worked well. Beautifully done Virginia!

Hah I'm not even going to try guessing because I'm horrible with food (I am a horrible cook). But honestly, those are gorgeous flowers "stamps"!

Tease. :-P Wonderful card Virginia, and in my opinion the only thing worth doing with vegetables is stamping with them! ;-)

So pretty! I much prefer this use of vegetables to the eating use. Ha! Seriously, wonderful!

You are such a tease, Virginia! Love the look, whatever it is. great colors and masking, too. Could it be celery stock?

Hi Virginia, you're becoming a 'green' stamper, aren't you?! :) The 'celery' roses are beautiful, well done!!

Beautiful design, Virginia! I'm going to guess the cut end of bok choy for your vegetable. Every time I cut it, I think it would make such a pretty stamped design.

I think you used celery. Neat idea. Thanks.

Think Harriet's right...looks like the bottom of the root end of celery after all the stalks have been chopped off. Whatever it is, it's a great look.

I think you used celery because it has big pores. Cool idea for a fantastic effect! TFS

But let me take a guess...maybe the stump of celery? I would be looking forward to your next post :)

My first guess would be romaine lettuce but the celery people got me thinking that it might be that. Whatever you used the card is great!
