CASing Donna!

Happy Sunday!
I am popping in to share a card that was inspired by my dear friend Donna Mikasa. Lucky for us, Donna is the January Muse over CASE Study!
I had "known" Donna since 2008 and have yet to meet her in real life! Visiting Hawaii (where Donna lives) is on hubby's bucket list! So that is good news, right?  From what I know about Donna, she is a SWEETIE and in the last few years, Donna had fast become my Queen of CAS with the Midas' Touch (that's how I call her).
 happy valentine's day
My card today is to pay homage to the uber talented Donna for her her kindness and friendship.
For this card, I made some diecut heart shapes with acetate card stock and alcohol inks. Then I added some clear pink sequins to create some "movement".
The new diecut set Heart Board Fri-dies from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps really comes in handy! If you do not own any heart shape diecut, I highly recommend this one. The sentiment is from SRM Stickers.

Thanks for stopping by!

Your die cut hearts are amazing - so vibrant with their swirls of color. The scalloped edge is very pretty. I love the scattered sequins and the cute sentiment framed by the red dots. Beautiful card, Virginia :)
