I'm so glad ...

....I have you in my life.
Love that sentiment!
I made this card a while ago.
It is a publication reject.
.
..
...
I still love it!
The water-coloring is not perfect, but I like it.
have you in my life
I want to thank those who left me the kindest comments, offered support and feedback, and made cards for my new Virginia's View Challenge. As I type this, we have 157 "likes" over Facebook, 63 followers and 97 entries! The challenge blog was born 6 days ago! I am working on getting prizes and new features for this challenge blog and so far it is very promising! I feel like I am hosting a super fun party and you are all part of it! And at the end of each party, I get to give out a prize! Please help me spread the word and share links!

Lastly, quite a few of you religiously voted for my daughter Stephanie's "Stand Up to Stigma" Campaign. We are hoping for a good result and will share if anything comes to fruition. Your unconditional support really touched me and my family. For that...

I'm so glad I have you in my life.

Your card is absolutely beautiful! I love how you played with your water colors and the feathers are so pretty floating down the card! Such a lovely and perfect sentiment all dressed up in vellum, too!

I'm so impressed, although not surprised that your stats are so high for your challenge! Thank you so much for all of your inspiration, and for all the work you've put into it!

Still keeping my fingers crossed for Stephanie! She is so deserving of a positive outcome after all the time and love she has put into this project! Keep us posted...Hugs!

Hi, Virginia! It comes as no surprise to me (and quite a few others, I suspect) that your new blog is taking on a life of it's own!! You have always been one of the most inspiring and encouraging bloggers out there! I love visiting your blog to see what you've been up to.

This beautiful card is definitely NOT a reject - thanks for sharing it with us. The gold leaves are so pretty against the watercolor background.

Looking forward to more fun on Virginia's View!!

Remember - not a "reject" but a "would've been selected at a different time" card! Love this, Virginia - fab with the bands of color and the falling gold feathers! Congrats on how the new challenge blog is going!!

This was "rejected"? In what world do those people live. It's a fabulous card. The colours you chose and the gold feathers are perfect. So glad your challenge is so successful. Hopefully, as time goes on, I'll have some time to enter.

Oh, and I wanted to tell you, I love your new challenge and I can't wait to play along, but sadly, I have a cold, so I surely want to play along as soon as I'm better! :D

About the voting: On line voting is so very strange, and not at all "democratic." There are so many unseen factors that affect voting. I voted nearly every day, and was disheartened to see the team's votes plummet from top to bottom. You realize after a while it's not about voting for the best project, just how to manipulate social media. Then again, I voted because I follow your cardmaking blog; what does that have to do with my interest mental health care in Canada? I voted because I enjoy reading about your family. You and Dr. John seem to have raised two wonderful children who work very hard, and will go far in life. It is touching to see how close your family is. Oh well. Life goes on. I guess a lesson can be learned in modern day marketing techniques. Good luck to Stephanie in her pursuits! And to you, in your new adventure.

This is gorgeous! Congrats on how well the new challenge is going! I'm not surprised though because as much fun as the challenge is I know people are also playing because of the fact that you are the hostess and how much you mean to so many in this community! I'm in the midsts of working on a project to add in the challenge!
