MORE Watercoloring Fun!

In case you think my love for water-coloring in on the wane.... well, not so fast.
I am sharing another card with watercolors today!

I started out with stamping and masking some flowers, then I added a watercolor background.
you can count on me
Stamps: Poppy in the Wind, Painted Poppy (Hero Arts), sentiment (Simon Says Stamp)

Growing up in Taiwan in the 70s,  taking Art lesson and getting good at Art was never a priority. The key to the so-called "success" was getting into a good university in Taiwan. Everybody (including myself) crammed and studied so hard for numerous entrance exams....  I never thought I could make anything artsy. This is as good as it gets :)

 Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful, Virginia! Yes, I had the same expereience, and then in college there wasn't any room for art classes. So I am surprised as you are at where this is coming from! And SO enjoying it!

Gorgeous Virginia. Love the background. I'm loving watercolouring at the moment. Just bought new paintbrushes and some paints today in anticipation of the new online class.

Virginia, your artsy look is right up there with the best of them. I love this card so much and I am convinced that you can master any technique thrown at you! Sorry I didn't find time to enter the stencil challenge; life just got so busy! Hopefully next time around. :)

So beautiful, Virginia! Such vibrant colors, and a wonderful design. The background really emphasizes the flowers. Love the scattered sequins too. Wonderful card. Bev

This is definitely art. I'm really loving the watercolor trend, too. My daughter is a water color artist and I always thought it was difficult but stamps make it a little easier. I love the spattered background with the flowers. It looks like "out of focus" flowers to me.

So beautiful! Glad you have been able to discover art despite the rigors of school in Taiwan! Did I ever tell you my mom was a teacher there? One day we will have to play the name game (when my mom is around)!
