What is Dr. John thinking...

Conversation in my craft room the other day...

Dr. John: What are you making?
Virginia: Another card with Botanical Notes...
Dr. John: Aaaaa-n-other card with the same stamp? (rolling his little eyes)
Virginia: Yeah, I want to see how many possibilities I can come up with.
Dr. John: I can tell you right now, it's endless! So you can stop right now and get a life (he said it with a chuckle)....
Virginia: THIS is my life. Of course, the possibilities are endless, but to make it different and beautiful each time, that takes SKILLS!

I hope that you are agreeing with me, and so the saga of Botanical Notes lives on....And because I have been productive with this stamp, here are two cards for today's post--
a clean and simple card
thank you so much-001
and a very colorful one.
 feel better soon
Notes about this card:
~emboss the image on smooth black card stock (for easier coloring)
~use color pencils to color the images
~the torn edges provide a nice effect to the design
~buttons were added for balance and interest

I am so glad that you are here and taking this creative journey with me.
Thanks for stopping by!

The black bg is awesome Virginia! It gives a total differend look to the stamps again. Love how you show the diversity of one set! And don't expect man to understand stamping ha ha I gave up hope a long time ago. (But hey, I also do not understand the skills he needs for fishing either...)

It's a fantastic stamp that definitely lends itself to many creative interpretations, and yours are simply amazing! Hilarious back-and-forth between you & DH, and likely very typical of many households with addicted stampers (like mine!) LOL

Dr. John is too funny! Your creativity is endless, Virginia. The black background card is stunning. I love the first card, the square panel with the single flower popped up makes a subtle yet bold statement. You are working that stamp!
