New Dies ( and Dr. John's Lego)

Two new dies-- Modest and Petals
(from Penny Black)

I made this with alcohol inks!
I stacked a few dies and made it look like a piece of chip board.
Lastly, here are a few photos of Dr. John's Maersk Lego cargo ship.

edited: Stephanie did a great job taking these photos! She is out on a mission today as the wedding photographer.

Beautiful card! Love the richness of the colors and I love that you used just a portion of the one die. Dr. John's creation is quite excellent....I think you and David need to create some small pirate ships to attack it ;)

That fucshia card is so lovely. The green diecut panel sets it off perfectly. (Diecut, hmmmm, must be a trend.) Dr; John's ship is jaw-dropping. Such patience he must have. And Stephanie's photo is awesome. It must be lovely to be surrounded by such a creative family.

Virginia, I love the flower you created!! The blended ink goes so well with the "drips" coming off the bottom of the flower. It really shines with a few layers under it too!

Awesome Lego creation, Dr. John!! My husband is sleeping now (I probably should be too) but I'm looking forward to showing him and the boys your ship in the morning. I see it's got one of those museum placards like our X-wing. AND, as a bonus, it's got lots of smooth surfaces for easy dusting (isn't that such a "mom" thing to say?!?)

That flower is truly beautiful! I shared your blog with my husband, Joe, because I wanted him to see Dr. John's ship. He was disappointed that Dr. John is not doing a Lego give-away!
