Pink Power Bloghop

Hello, welcome to the Pink Power Bloghop!
Chaitali has rounded up some of her crafty friends to help spread BC awareness. This is a cause close to her heart after her mom was diagnosed with BC earlier this year. She designed the Pink Power set for her mom with a lot of love. She is sponsoring this hop with the set for the hop guests. We also have some of the Verve DT playing in the hop today!
If you come from Julee's blog, then you are in the right place.  If not, you can simply join the hop from the list below.

I picked a theme from the master list over SplitcoastStampers where there are many challenges that you can be part of. Chaitali designed this stamp set Pink Power and you can purchase it here.

For my first card, I decided to use paper strips ( you have to strip off the bra for the mammogram, thus--strip) for the project and it's even better if you use pink

Never underestimate
Supplies: pattern paper from American Craft, sequins, Neon inks (Imagine Craft), sequins

Holding it together...or falling apart.
"When someone gets the diagnosis that they really didn’t want and hears that they have cancer, they can feel that their world is falling apart. Sadly many women who hear this news have families, and they have find that inner core of resilience to hold it together for their families."
For my 2nd card, I am putting together a card without your usual resources. No foam dots, no ATG or other tape, no wet glues or Glossy Accents, no glue gun...
You can use things like brads, eyelets, stitching (machine or hand), staples…

Fight like a girl
This card has no adhesive. The thing that "glue" everything together are 4 small pink brads and stitching.
Through this blog hop, we encourage you to participate in the SCS Hope You Can Cling To event and actually send their card for it. Here are the challenges from the master thread.
Your next hop is Amber.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

I am constantly amazed by the ability of talented crafters, like yourself, who can make cards that reflect a subject so well. Absolutely adore the concept of your second card and the first is just bright and full of hope. Thanks for using your art to help shed light on such an important subject.

Stunning cards Virginia! I really love the second one, because it's not to believe that there are only four small brads, that holds everything together :)

Since this is a cause close to my heart (my mom is a BC survivor x2!), I'm so happy to see that you girls got together for this Blog Hop!
Your first card is fabulous with all those amazing shades of pink, and I love your theme of 'strips'! You are so clever, Virginia!
I also love how you stamped the butterflies on your 2nd card! Your stitching and brads are really unique and I love the sentiment!

Two amazing cards, Virginia. The second card is special because of the clever and metaphoric way in how you built it.
