Stencil THREE Ways!

First of all, a BIG, HUGE, GINORMOUS thank you for commenting on my last post about the WCMD win. Your kind comments make me smile! I appreciate that you took the time to comment!

 Now, on to today's post...
As I look back at the paper-crafting trends this year, stencils are the one lean and mean tool that we simply can not ignore...

I recently got this Tim Holtz Holiday Knit stencil,

and as you can tell, I have been having fun with it.
Here is the first card with this stencil that debut on my blog.

Today I am sharing three more cards made with the same stencil.
The first one is a colorful one. I did some masking with the sentiment and kept it nearly one layer.
holly jolly Christmas
Since it has so many colors, I kept the design fairly simple.
For my 2nd card,  I went for the white and glitter...
Let it Snow (1)
With the simple color scheme and textures, I was aiming for the classy and elegant look.

Here is my 3rd version. I used the non-traditional colors for this Christmas card. With the variation of embossing paste colors, this card is actually very easy to make. I think I like this one the best, so much so that I submitted it for the World Card Making Day Contest...but it was not the winning one.
Merry Christmas and happy new year

What do you think? Are you still loving stencils?
Thanks for stopping by!

This is a real help for me as I only have one stencil and still hardly use it as I am never really sure how to! I adore the second card, so very classy....how did you get the texture?

Wow!! I love how you used this on three different cards. I think I like the one where you used the embossing paste the best, though. That pattern looks so pretty on the aqua!! I love how you use one product and create different projects. I am trying to do that more myself!!

Tim needs to hire you...lol you have done such a great job showcasing the stencil. I especially love the black little tag that looks a bit like a clothing tag. So smart your designing.
