Using an Aluminum Metal Craft Sheet

Hello, friends!
Do you know that there is a new challenge going on over Virginia's View Challenge
Yup, it's all about metallic!

Do you find metallic elements intimidating? Don't be!
Take the aluminum craft metal sheets from Add a little Dazzle as an example.
http://www.addalittledazzle.com/
The metal sheet is much like a piece of heavy card stock, except it is slightly sharp on the edges, so you do have to be careful when working with these metal sheets. However, they can be used like a piece of delicate paper. When used with a die cut, they cut like butter! So smooth and easy.  The best thing is, they come in several eye-catching colors.
I used the silver metal sheet and ran the die "let it snow" (from Penny Black) and got this gorgeous result--instantly!The penguin image is from Snow Dancer. Isn't it adorable?

I colored the penguin in copics and the "ice"..? I used alcohol inks! I hope that you join the fun over Virgina's View Challenge. One of the prizes is a $15 gift pack of metal sheets!

Last Saturday, we had a costume party at our neighbors. It was supposed to be a Flashback to the 80s, 90s...but I think Dr. John can't get over the 70s! It was fun to let loose and dance to the 80s music. Since my neighbor is a cardiologist, most of the guests are local doctors that we worked with. Seeing them dressed in outrageous costumes such as Bob Marley and Richard Simmons... was a riot!
I tried to make my hair puffy and big, but after 30 minutes, it kind of collapsed on me!
Thanks for stopping by!

Virginia, you picked the perfect die to use with those metal sheets!! LOVE how the metallic thin lines look on your darling card. And how cute are YOU with your semi-big hair and jeans jacket?! You look like you're in your mid-20s! Dr. John is quite swinging himself : ) Thanks so much for sharing this adorable photo of you two.
