I am honored to be part of the Hero Arts Hostess Blog Hop. Back in 2009, I was selected as one of the hostesses in Hero Arts Flickr Group. This happened early in my online stamping life and it certainly gave me the confidence and tremendous encouragement to my stamping. To this day, I am most grateful for that incredible opportunity!
Let's get the hostess blog hop started, shall we?

The stamps from this new release from Hero Arts are absolutely amazing. From trendy to versatile, this release covers it all. I made 3 cards for this blog hop. Each card has a list of features and details at the bottom of the photos. Here we go...

Card #1 So thankful for you
so thankful for you
~create a colorful vellum paper with alcohol inks
~emboss the new detailed background stamp "CG 662 Triangle Background" in white
~emboss the wood stamp "G6070 Thankful" in white on black card stock
~adhere the sentiment with pop dots and tug the silver strings underneath, add sequins

Card #2 You're The Best, Grandpa and Grandma
you are the best
~stamp "CG662 Triangular Background" in 4 colors (Tide Pool, Pale Tomato, Soft Cantaloupe,  Field Green)
~make the tag dies with "DC136 Stamp and Cut Flag" and stamp the alphabets
~stamp the small scalloped borders on banners with Papel Picodo Banners
~adhere banners with pop dots, add white strings
~add gold Stickles and wood-grain stars (Studio Calico)

 Card #3 Thank You
thank you
~create watercolor paper: apply Peerless Watercolor to watercolor paper (Strathmore,110 lbs)
~emboss the banner images from "CL845 Papel Picardo Banners" in gold detailed embossing powder, cut out the images
~stamp the dotted lines
~adhere the gold-embossed images with pop dots
~add gold confetti and small sequins

I hope that you get some ideas about this awesome stamp release. I know I will reach for these stamps again and again! The sweet and talented Heather' blog is your next stop!

If you find a broken link, please visit Hero Arts Blog. Be sure to leave a comment along the hops, so you will have a chance to win some new Hero Arts goodies!
Big thanks to Hero Arts for inviting me and other hostessed for this fun event.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
