Soft and Feminine

Happy Thursday!
I am popping in to share a birthday card that I made when I first got my MISTI earlier this month. I was beyond excited to use MISTI and did the multiple inking on the blossoms.
The inking was not perfect but I like how I layered the images. The look is soft and feminine..., plus it has some sweet elements (lace and sequins). Do you like the stamping on the card stock with the Delicata Gold? I kind of like it!!
fabulous birthday
Supplies: Delicate Blossoms, Heartfelt (Penny Black), Stitched Rectangles (Simon Says Stamp), lace (Doodlebug Designs), sequins (Simon Says Stamp), Delicata (Tsukineko)

Since it's Thursday, I am having a little Throwback Thursday share. This video shows how exciting it was to play with a Cuttlebug for the first time! Back in 2009, I visited my dear friend Karen in Michigan and I showed her how to work the machine...  and Dr. John was being helpful.
Hope this video makes you smile.
Do you remember how amazed you were when you first got a die cut machine...
or any of your first BIG toys? As they say now, it's a game changer!
Have a fabulous day!

Smiling after seeing your CUTTLE-BUG video! I remember thinking I could do without another tool...oh how WRONG I was! I use my Big Kick every day:)))

The second photo of your card is not showing.. looks lovely from the first one though.

I know what you mean, Laura Jane. So far I have managed to stay away from high tech machines (such as Silhouette)LOL...the 2nd photo is showing now, sorry about that.

I am so loving the Misti, too, and your card is so stunning, Virginia!

I remember this video, Virginia! Fun to see you 2 together again......And I adore this card, I can see where the MISTI would be perfect for making it! Beautiful inking!

Your card is absolutely beautiful! I love the stamping and the doily details on the corners. My MISTI just arrived, I'm so excited! Sort of like the two of you in your Cuttlebug video!

The more I see people use the MISTI the more I think I need it. Especially if I can turn out cards as beautiful as yours. Loved the stroll down memory lane.

I absolutely LOVE your card and that perfect touch of doily! And it's so fun to see your throwback with Karen! I remember that Cuttlebug episode--priceless!

Great card. The Misti tool is on my list.

Fun video; I loved having my own Big Shot and using it for the first time. But I don't think anything comes close to watching embossing powder melt for the first time.

My sister got the red Sizzix with the knobby handle. It was so ugly that I thought, "I'm not buying that! It's too ugly to leave out!" Thankfully, I got a Big Shot, and adore it! And a Cricut followed by a Silhouette. The Misti comes next week and I'm sooo excited!!! Love this card, Virginia. It's soft and lovely and perfectly feminine. Those blossoms and branches are incredible. Love this card. Bev

Your card is lovely. The raised panel, the doily the background stamping all converge to create an amazing card.

Ha ha...Love the video. I sent my Cuttlebug to retirement not long ago. Every time I used it, some tiny screw fell out and some die just won't cut completely. Now I'm using a Big shot. So much happier with it. BTY, gorgeous card.

Love this card. The stamped flowers are beautiful. So sad I couldn't get the video to work. My internet is not that good.
