Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge #313

wed-newchallenge-header

Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for the Create Your Own Background Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too :-)

This week the challenge is...
Clean and Simple

We are using Hero Arts products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some, we love to see them used :-)

For my one-layer card, I used Lower Case Letter V (of course)Thankful (rubber stamp) and Floral Vines.

very thankful for you
I blocked off the word "so" from the stamp and stamped " so very Thankful for you", that way I can use the wooden stamp V :)

Here is a quick photo to show you how I created this one layer card (see instructions below).
1. cut out the heart shape with the heart die first
2. use the negative heart die as a stencil
3. stamp the letter V
4. layer the heart stencil over another stencil (Floral Vines) and the stamped letter V....
5. apply Ripe Persimmon, Pickled Raspberry and Crackled Pistachio to the small flowers
6. ink up Spun Sugar around the edges
About Creative Light Bulb: this has been an old feature of mine and I would like to continue share creative ideas when I have them
Ding--->pick a shape stencil (create your own if you do not have any) and detailed stencil (such as Floral Vines). Put the two together like I did...and see what happens :)

As always, Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store!
