Another Take on Glitter

Hello, friends! First I want to share a little happy thing...
This sweet "Yes, Virginia" ornament was sent by my dear friend Alexandra
Alexandra thought of me when she was shopping at Macy's in NYC ....
I was moved to tears when I opened the package!
Thank you for your thoughtful and memorable gift, Alex!!!
Btw, Alexandra has an awesome giveaway in her blog (click here). Alexandra often does stamping tutorials, shares cooking/baking tips and her scrapbooking skills are amazing.

Are you inspired to add glitter to your project yet?
December is the perfect month to do so!

This is a re-post for Virginia's View Challenge. There is an extra prize that will be added to the current challenge. You can find out the details here. Big thanks to Winnie and Walter!
 We now have 3 prizes!

Naturally, I want to create a fun, festive and glittery card with one of my favorite stamp sets "My Precious" by Winnie and Walter.
Sparkle and Shine
About this card:
~use glitter embossing powder: do not under estimate those glittery embossing powder. I first embossed the Enchanted Gold Embossing Powder on vellum.
~alcohol inks: some of you might be a bit intimidated by alcohol inks because they are super bright and can be overpowering. BUT if you use just a tiny bit, they are just lovely! In this case, I dabbed the alcohol inks on the back of the vellum and it is "just right".
~be bold with the sentiment: I was just being "silly" creative and used gold thread to wrap up the sentiment. I think it makes a statement and sure adds pizzazz to the design.

Be sure to link up your glittery project to Virginia's View Challenge!

Lastly, here is a new Craftsy class "Radiant Stamping" taught by previous guest designer (for Virginia's View Challenge) Mayuri!
The lessons look awesome.  Do check it out!

Thank you for stopping by!

A lovely ornament just for you. Your card is really good. I like that you encourage us to use alcohol inks. I've not tried glitter embossing powder. Shall add that to my list of must try.
