Create Your Own Mosaic

Hello friends!
Today's post is a two-fer.
I made these for The Ton Stamps Blog Hop and didn't get to share them all.

This first card is not something to mass produce. As you can see, these images did take some time to complete. Each Rose is stamped with various shades and colors.  This is the kind of card when you feel like stamping and do not have a plan...
Beauty
After spending much time in stamping, I decided to embossed the ENTIRE image in clear-embossing powder. I think it was a good move because it really looks like a piece of "art"! At the end, I layered it with a piece of vellum and used a timeless sentiment to complete the design.

Here's another floral card that I made with The Ton Stamps. The Ton is well known for layering stamps and detailed designs. No matter what your stamping level is, you will be able achieve great results. ( Please note that I am not affiliated with The Ton Stamps)
sending healing thoughts
With the layering stamps, the flowers were so easy to create. I made all the die cut (the cover panel, flowers and leaves) and just put them all together.

To me, this is stamping at its best.
(there are a few classes that are available for a great price)

I am very thankful that you would spend the time visiting this little blog.

Two beautiful and yet very different stamps. I do love layering stamps, Virginia, and again you've reminded us of the versatility of vellum.

Both cards are stunning, of course, but that first one looks like you painted it on tile. Using the EP was a terrific idea. Love that you use the rustic paper to mount it. Should be hung in a gallery somewhere. And the orchids are perfectly lovely on that beautiful diecut background. Gorgeous coloring on both.

Beautiful, Virginia, just beautiful. There's nothing more relaxing than stamping a card that just feels right. Your first card is amazing. Love the shimmer you've got on it too. Totally loving that cover plate die on your orchid card too. So pretty with the blue behind it. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend. Bev

Wow!! Both these cards are stunning. I could tell that first card was a ton of work just from looking at it. I like that you embossed the whole thing. Really looks cool. Your second card is just as pretty with the way you layered the "flowers" on the trellis like die cut. Beautiful cards.

They're both beautiful but the first one steals the show, of course!
I can see how it would have taken forever to make, a true work of art!
Thanks Virginia~
