Cards with (Light) Layers

Hello friends!
fabulous (close-up)
I am popping in to share two cards with LAYERS. Adding layers is so much fun. However, I try to be careful not to make it heavy and bulky with all the added layers.

My cards with The Ton Stamps will help explain my thoughts. To me, a combination of stamping, pattern paper, embossing and dies provide the right amount of depth and textures.
you are fabulous
In case you are wondering my starting point of this design....
The first thing I did was embossing the planter with Hero Arts Platinum Embossing Powder. This embossing powder is excellent for creating subtle shine. Once I had done that, I could stamp and compose the flower arrangement as I went along.

My 2nd card also has quite a few layers.

However, it is just a piece of cover plate and stamped flowers (with stamped leaves/stems in the background).
love you

I am not affiliated with The Ton Stamps. However, I hope that you check out the products from The Ton. The owner Effie ( a dear friend of mine) has done some amazing job in designing dies and stamps. I love supporting companies like that.

Gorgeous flower arrangement in embossed bowl, Virginia, and I love the lattice with a window cut out of it - so open and airy!!

You're brilliant. What you do with minimal layers is incredible and, oh so, mailable. The texture of the embossing and then the lattice cover plate add so much interest to these cards.
