Creative Use of Dies and Embossing Folder

Hello friends!
I am sure you all have a few favorite dies and embossing folders in your arsenal. Have you helped them to reach their "potential" lately? I have a few favorites (old and new) and came up with some ideas of using them together! How fun is that?

Again, I can't get enough of the The Next Level Woven Embossing Folder (We R Memory Keepers). The other day I saw a photo of woven basket filled with flowers in an old Martha Stewart magazine. And that inspired me to create a cone shape basket for my stamped flowers!

Ding---> when you have the right textures, the next things you think about are the shapes and sizes.
In this case, I scored paper and ran it through my old Cuttlebug. Bam!.....You got yourself a woven flower basket!
hello
This card looks complicated? Well, it really is NOT. We can dissect it into 3 parts:

1. Create a "frame": To keep the layers to a minimum, I used two large "Stitched Rectangles" and created a thin frame. This does not overwhelm the design. Also, it draws your eyes to the focal point.

2. Woven basket: Measurement was not required.  I simply scored two V-shape lines to make the triangle and then ran it with Woven Embossing Folder. On top of the basket, I added a Stitched Borders from Pretty Pink Posh. Once you have the pieces in place, you can add double-sided tape.

3. Flower arrangement: Once you have all the stamped and die cut pieces, arrange them in the most visually appealing ways. Use items like Liquid Pearl to add pop of color and shine (see pink" berries").

I hope that you are inspired by this post on using embossing folders and dies.
