Mail-friendly Card

Hello friends!

Do you mail cards? I do! When I mail cards, I try to pick cards with flat surface and minimal embellishments. It is not easy sometimes to find such cards because we all love dimension with pop dots, chipboard, layers of paper, pearls.... and gemstones. It was my mission to make more mail-friendly cards this year. I am happy to share one today!
for my friend on your birthday-001

About this card:
~a subtle background: Grid Lattice Background was stamped around the card stock
~interesting color of combo: use three colors of glitter paper (DCWV Paper) for the Calais Butterflies (Memory Box)
~use vellum for embossed images and cut it out
~color the floral images (with Zig Markers )on the backside of the vellum (no smear, no fuss)
~add dry embossed paper without pop dots
~use Mini Hearts Outline Dies instead of gemstone or pearls

Great "flat" card Virginia. It is hard to get a pretty card without too much dimension to post. You've done beautifully here.

It's a beautiful card! Almost all of my cards get mailed, so I appreciate your ideas. When I add dimension, I end up paying more for postage. Thanks!
